  3. Click Create signature image to get a neatly cropped signature.
  4. Download a transparent PNG to place on documents, or a JPG with a white background.

Features

Transparent PNG

The background is see-through, so your signature sits naturally on any document or form.

Draw or type

Natural pen strokes that respond to speed, or four handwriting fonts if you prefer typing.

High resolution

Exported at three times screen size, so it stays sharp when printed or zoomed in.

Never uploaded

Your signature is created in your browser and never sent to a server: important for something this personal.

Tips for a natural-looking signature

  • Use a phone or tablet for drawing if you can. Signing with a finger or stylus feels much closer to pen and paper.
  • Blue ink makes it easy to tell an original signed page from a photocopy.
  • Don't over-tidy it. A signature that looks like your paper one is more convincing than a perfect script font.

Keep your signature safe

Treat a signature image like a key: only add it to documents you mean to sign, and don't post it publicly. Because this tool runs in your browser, the image only exists on your device until you choose to use it.

Need to turn signed pages into a single document? Photograph them and use JPG to PDF.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add my signature to a PDF or Word document?

Download the transparent PNG. In Word, use Insert → Pictures and set text wrapping to "In front of text". In most PDF readers, use the "Fill & Sign" or "Add image" option, then drag the signature into place.

Is a signature image legally binding?

In many countries an electronic signature, including an image of your signature, can be valid for everyday agreements. Some documents (for example property deeds or certain contracts) need a certified or witnessed signature. If in doubt, ask the person you are signing for.

Is it safe to create my signature online here?

Yes. The signature is drawn and saved entirely in your browser. It is never uploaded, stored or sent anywhere, so we can't see it.

How can I make my drawn signature look better?

Sign larger than you normally would and at a steady speed: the pen gets thinner when you move faster, just like real ink. A stylus or your finger on a phone often looks more natural than a mouse.

Can I use the signature in my email footer?

Yes. Download the PNG and add it as an image in your email signature settings. Keep it around 300 px wide so it looks right on phones.
