When to turn images into a PDF
- Applications and forms: combine photos of ID, certificates or receipts into the single PDF many forms ask for.
- Homework and notes: turn phone photos of pages into one document that's easy to submit.
- Portfolios: share a set of images as one file that opens the same on every device.
Tips for a clean, readable PDF
- Photograph documents in good light, straight on, and fill the frame.
- Use a small margin for documents that may be printed, so nothing gets cut off.
- If a form has a size limit, choose "Smaller file", or compress the images first with the image compressor.
Frequently asked questions
How do I combine several JPGs into one PDF?
Add all the images at once, arrange them in the order you want, and click Create PDF. You get a single PDF with one image per page.
How do I make the PDF smaller?
Choose "Smaller file". Large photos are scaled to a maximum of 2000 px and saved with stronger compression, which is still sharp for reading on screen and normal printing.
Which page size should I choose?
A4 is standard in most countries; US Letter in the US and Canada. Choose "Same as image" for digital-only PDFs where you don't want white borders.
Can I convert scanned documents?
Yes. Photos of documents or scans work well. Use A4 or Letter with a small margin so it prints like the original.
Is there a limit on the number of images?
There is no fixed limit. Dozens of photos work fine on a computer; on a phone, choose "Smaller file" for very large batches.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The PDF is created by your browser on your own device, so your documents stay private.
